- 英文摘要: This paper presents the result of an experimental investigation of heat transfer by forced convection from a platinum wire to water in crossflow in a Reynolds number range of approximately 2 to 42. The wire diameters varied from 127 to 406.mu.m. The present experimental data is represented well by the equation, Nu/sub f/=(0.1985+ 0.863Re/sub f//sup 0.43/)Pr/sub f//sup 0.3/ which agrees with the Fand correlation. However, the above equation is preferable becaues it represents more realistically the actual physical heat transfer process for this Reynolds number range.
