- 英文摘要: Concentrating the adsorbate is a promising new application for Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA). This research examines PSA for simultaneous gas purification and sorbate recovery using experiments and model simulations with three different systems of gas mixtures: DMMP/air(simulating the nerve gas/chemical agent in chemical warfares), n-hexane/air (for solvent vapor recovery), and SO/sub 2//NO/sub 2//CO/sub 2/ in N/sub 2/ (flue gas cleanup and sulfur recovery). Based on these systems, we can understand the underlying principles for concentrating the adsorbate, by examing the effects of the various PSA cycle parameters on adsorbate enrichment and recovery. The purge/feed ratio is a key parameter for the adsorbate enrichment; the enrichment peaks at a certain purge/feed ratio. The desorption pressure is equally important and as it decreases, the adsorbate enrichment increases and its peak value occurs at a lower purge/feed ratio. This report also includes the effects of other PSA cycle parameters on the sorbate concentration and recovery as well as on the adsorption product purity. All three systems studied are feasible.
