- 英文摘要: A 32-subscriber 2-stage space division switching network with reed-relayswitches is adopted for the prototype Electronic Switching System being developedin the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University. The con-figuration of the system developed permits the system to be expanded easily. TheHP 2100A stored program computer is used to control the switching functions. Inthe first stage of studies, only the intra-office call is considered. The call processingprogram designed for the ESS system controls the switching functions in real timeand time-sharing basis. An interrupt signal at 10-millisecond rate initiates thehigh-priority program that must be performed to accurate timing tolerances. This report describes the switching network, scanners, service circuits, the pro-gram structure and its specified functions.
