- 中文摘要: 本研究嘗試探討微積分電腦教學對學生表現之影響。樣本為中國文化大學工學院一年級學生,共91人,其中實驗組44人,對照組47人。研究結果顯示:A實驗組對圖形和代數表徵的概念瞭解較對照組之實驗平均分數高;B實驗組和對照組在符號運算技巧上之實驗平均分數沒有顯著差異;C實驗組對概念的定義及證明較對照組之實驗平均分數高;D在整體表現上,實驗組較對照組之實驗平均分數高。總括來說,本研究的結果顯示微積分電腦教學對學生學習成績及學習態度皆有正面之影響。
- 英文摘要: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of using computers on collegestudents’performance in calculus. A test was designed to probe students' understanding ofthe most important concepts of calculus. The test was administered to 44 students who hadlearned calculus with computers and 47 who had not. Analysis of data indicated:(1)theexperimental group scored significantly higher on conceptual understanding in graphicalmode (p=0.019) and algebraic mode (p=0.081);(2) there was no difference between theexperiment and control groups on symbolic manipulation skills (p=0.516);(3) the experi-mental group scored significantly higher on understanding and proofing formal definitions(p<0.000);(4) the experimental group scored significantly higher on the overall perfor-mance (p<0.000). In addition, students' attitudes toward calculus were evaluated beforeand after the treatments, In conclusion, the results obtained in the study showed that thecomputer treatment was superior to the traditional treatment in achieving students' learn-ing and attitude.
