- 英文摘要:
For an impregnated active metal catalyst, the effect of nonuniform metal
distribution on the reaction rate of a 1st order, irreversible, isothermal reaction is
mathematically modelled. The catalyst pellet is divided into several arbitrary volume
shells each of them is assumed to be uniform in metal distribution. The activity
of any nonuniformly impregnated active metal catalyst can be predicted by using
this proposed model.
A double-shell impregnated catalyst, which is the simplest case in the proposed
model, is discussed in detail, and the numerical solutions give insights of the
influence of various physical parameters such as the Thiele modula, the depth of
impregnation, and the active metal loding density (distribution of active metal in
shells). A method to find optimal depth of impregnation is also proposed. - 中文關鍵字: --
