- 中文摘要: 本文之目的主要是延伸已發展相當良好之單船之截片理論與非線性流體動力理論來作小水面雙體船之附加阻力預測。文中亦設計了一套實驗來證明理論的可靠性。基本上文中的非線性理論源自於單船再加入兩船體間之流體干擾來計算。有下列三個基本假設(1)船體為一弱振器(2)二階流勢省略(3)船體運動為線性。根據目前之研究結果顯示:此理論對小水面雙體船附加阻力之預測大致上仍良好,可作為此類特種船舶初步設計之參考。
- 英文摘要: The objective of the present paper was to extend the well developed strip theory and nonlinearhydrodynamic force theory of a single ship to the prediction of the added resistance for a SWATH shipadvancing in head waves. An experimental technique is also carried out to validate the theoretical results.Basically, the nonlinear theory used in this paper originates from that of a single ship, and the hydro-dynamic interactions between two hull bodies are included in the calculations. Three basic assumptionsare made: (1) the hull body is a "weak scatterer," (2) the second order potential is small and can beneglected, and (3) ship motion is based on the linear strip theory. The results of the present study showthat the previously developed nonlinear theory for a single ship may be applied to predict the addedresistance of a seagoing SWATH ship. Hopefully, the technique developed here may offer some usefulinformation to the naval architect in SWATH ship design.
