- 中文摘要: The purpose of this study was to develop an instrument for evaluating the teaching competencies of junior high school physics teachers in the science laboratory. There are six junior high school physics/chemistry teachers majoring in physics in their university days participated in this study. In the process of developing the evaluation instrument ,the researcher finished the domains, elements , and indicators of the necessary competencies in Science Laboratory teaching based on related literature, questionaire, the research group discussion and examination by nine experts of science education. After setting the items of the instrument and finishing the pilot test, the formal evaluation began. The evaluation result of inter-raters reliability lay between .33 and .98, and the test-retest reliability was between .82 and .78. Thus the consistency and stability within the scorers are acceptable. The characteristic of this instrument were:1. Evaluators had to accept the training of evaluation procedure. 2. Evaluators adopted the high-inference evaluation method and wrote down actual examples as evidence as the base for evaluation. 3. Researchers offered five methods to examine qualified teachers to meet the different needs in different areas and schools. 4. Researchers provided a complete users' manual of the instrument for future users to apply it easily and effectively.
- 英文摘要: 本研究針對師資培育管道開放後面臨之教師資格檢定問題,發展一項國民中學物理教師實驗室教學能力觀察評鑑工具。本研究乃以具有物理背景的國中理化教師為研究對象,參與研究的個案共有五位理化教師。在實驗室教學能力觀察評鑑工具的發展過程中,研究者依據相關的文獻資料、問卷、評鑑小組的討論及九位科學教育專家的審查,首先將實驗室教學能力予以整理、修正,而得到必要的實驗室教學能力之各向度、能力指標及說明。當實驗室教學觀察評鑑表的格式及內容確立後,進行預評及再修正的工作。在完成評鑑表之修訂及評鑑者訓練過程後,將五位個案教師的實驗室教學狀況拍攝成實驗室教學錄影帶,由評鑑小組進行評鑑,並對評鑑結果進行分析。本評鑑工具主要特性為:1.評鑑者必須經過評鑑者訓練過程之訓練。2.評鑑者採用描述、推論、評定觀察方式進行「高推論」的評鑑。3.為符合多元化的需求,本研究提出利用本工具檢定合格教師的五種不同方法。4.建立完整的評鑑工具使用說明書,供未來使用者易於理解及進行評鑑之用。
