- 中文摘要: 在本篇論文裡,我們提出一個具有處理短資料長度能力的頻率估測方法。這個方法是利用數位餘弦轉換取代改良式前向一後向線性預測方法中的特徵值來進行頻率估測,其結果與改良式前向一後向線性預測方法類似。而所需的計算量卻較少。除此之外,我們還提出一個先期處理器以提高信號對雜訊比,使結果更佳。
- 英文摘要: In this paper, a new high resolution frequency estimation technique for short data record is present-ed. The discrete cosine transform (DCT) is used in this work to replace eigen-decomposition for highresolution frequency estimation Basically, the presented method can be viewed as a sub-optimal eigen-decomposition method. Thefundamental concept of the presented method is very similar to the method of modified forward-backwardlinear prediction (MFBLP). The major difference is that optimal eigen-decomposition of the input cor-relation matrix used in the MFBLP method is replaced by sub-optimal DCT decomposition. Through computer simulation, we have found that the presented method has very similarperformance in terms of frequency estimation, compared to the MFBLP method. In addition, a pre-processwhich consists of an adaptive line-enhancer (ALE) and an adaptive notch filter can be applied to the DCTdecomposition method to further improve performance. Moreover, the computation requirement of theDCT decomposition method with or without pre-processing is much less than that of the MFBLP method,due to the fact that there are fast computational algorithms for DCT which allow easy VLSI implementa-tion. Thus, the presented method is more attractive in real time processing
