- 中文摘要: 本文所進行之實驗工作為將鐵水鑄入鐵粉所壓製之薄壁毛胚中,其目的為進行瞭解鐵水所放出之熱量是否可將薄壁毛胚燒結,同時達成金相結合成一體。所完成之結果中,提出一式子;以圖配合此式子,可用於估計鐵粉毛胚(密度60%以上)之熱傳係數。亦建立一用於分析毛胚溫度變化之理論,根據此理論所繪製之溫度變化曲線與實驗所得曲線有相同之趨勢。於澆鑄實驗中、在鐵水溫度1680℃及毛胚預熱溫度800℃時,密度為6.39g/cm之毛胚燒結良好,但毛胚與凝因金屬之間,僅有部份達成金相結合。若將鐵水溫度提昇至1700℃,毛胚預熱溫度提昇至900℃,則達成毛胚與凝固金屬之完全金相結合。整個結果顯示,本計畫所研究之複合加工製程,若經進一步開發,可能用於製造高強度粉末冶金零件或製造毛胚,而經進一步成形加工,製造複合材料。
- 英文摘要: The purpose of this study was to investigate whether heat released ftom a melt was suffieient tosinter a powder shell and to form a metallie bond between the powder shell and solidified metal. A formulato evaluate the eonduetivities of iron-powder compaets was experimentally established. A theory has alsobeen developed to analyse the temperature ehange at the interfaee between the melt and powder shell anda trend was found to agree with experimental results. Samples produced under conditions of pouringtemperature 1680℃ and preheating temperature 800℃ of a powder shell showed a well sintered butpartially integrated microstructure. When pouring and preheating temperatures were increased,respectively, to 1700℃ and 900℃, a completely integrated sample was produced. The results indicatethat heat released from the molten metal to sinter the compact was a feasible process.If complete integra-tion was required, the interface temPerature should be slightly above the melting point of the powdermaterial. It is suggested that, by the application a thinner wall and high density of powder shell togeherwith an insulating mold, introduction of a composite forming process is possible.
