- 英文摘要: Vapor-phase carbonylation of methanol on supported nickel borides was studied under pressurized conditions in the presence of methyl iodide promoter. The P-1 and P-2W nickel borides supported on activated carbon exhibited an excellent activity for converting most of methanol to carbonylated products. However, nickel borides supported on.gamma.-alumina, 13X-zeolite, or silica gel exhibited lower activity. This is contrary to the quite low activiity for pure nickel supported on these carriers. Electrons transfer between carbon and nickel, or between boron and nickel is assumed to be essential for the catalysis of nickel on carbonylation. The methanol carbonylation is first order in methyl iodide and zero order in both methanol and carbon monoxide over the activated carbon supported P-1 nickel boride. The carbonylation mechanism on it may be quite similar to that proposed for homogeneous complex catalysts.
