杉木、巒大杉、及大點雨(巒大杉之一型)各取同年齡及長在同地區之十棵植物之葉枝為材料進行比較化學研究。此
等材料之精油組成、類黃素組成、及過氧化?同位酵素分別以氣相層析法、濾紙層析法、及電泳法加以分析。並以精油和
類黃素分析所得數據進行統計分類學研究。本研究發現杉屬各分類群間之化學性狀之分化程度很小,顯示杉屬內各分類
群之演化分化的時間在地質年代上可能進行不久或是演化速度緩慢,現今大部分分類學者將杉木與巒大杉視為獨立之兩
種的看法可能不太恰當。由精油之研究發現各分類群間稍有分歧化之現象,因此視杉屬只含一種且無種內分群之分類看
法也不太恰當,而以認為巒大杉是杉木的變種之分類處理較為合理。
h - 英文摘要: Ten samples each of China Fir, Lunanta Fir, and Daiten-a (a form of Luanta Fir) collected fromtrees of same developmental stage and same locality were used for a comparative chemical study. Theessential oil compositions, flavonoid constituents, and peroxidase isozymes of these plant materials wereanalysed by means of gas chromatography, paper chromatography and polyacrylamide disc electrophoresisrespectively. The chemical data obtained from essential oil and flavonoid analyses were used in a numericaltaxonomic study. The result of the present study indicates that the degree of divergency of chemicalcharacters between taxa of this genus is rather small. The evolutionary divergence of the taxa within thisgenus is probably a recent event on the geological time. The treatment in which China Fir and Luanta Firare recognized as two distinct species is probably unjustifiable. Small divergence has been observed asrevealed by the comparative studies of essential oils. The taxonomic treatment in which the genus isconsisted of only a single species and without any infraspecific division is also questionable. Based on theinformation obtained from the present study, the taxonomic treatment in which Luanta Fir was treated asa variety of China Fir is more acceptable.
