Quasi-steady state approach method is used to solve two dissolved gases
which react instantaneously with a reactant in liquid phase. Two cases are studied
here, the first case considers the concentration profiles of absorbing gases in liquid
near the interface is linear, and the second case considers the concentration profiles
of both absorbing gases and liquid-phase reactant are linear. The enhancement
factors obtained from these two cases are compared with that obtained from exact
solution. An approximate equation to express the enhancement factor is also
