- 中文摘要: 本研究吸取國內外設計教育之長處,透過文獻探討與對產官學之問卷調查,綜合歸納出符合台灣現今社經環境之設計教育模式,並透過教學實驗,以及專家學者之座談,評估本模式之可行性。設計教育模式實驗的要點在於(A)選系選學程的制度,獲取適性之學生,(B)分組式的教育方式,兼顧師徒制及大班制的優點,(C)設計研習中心式實習,全體師生皆為設計師,讓師生了解業界並能充分配合。
- 英文摘要: For years the design departments of various levels of vocational and technologicalschools have separately developed unique design teaching methods and trained manypersonnel to meet the demands of various industries in Taiwan. Their achievementsmust not be forgotten. Therefore this study has taken these existing design educationmethods as base and adopted some of the strengths of foreign design education systems.This paper has investigated four aspects of design education, namely design curriculum,case study methods, cooperative work programs between industry and education, andpracticum systems. Firstly, background material and objectives of this study were ex-plained. Secondly a brief review of design education in Taiwan was conducted. Thirdly,up-to-date alternatives in these aspects were discussed, Finally, a design center servingto coordinate functions among the subjects under study was proposed and set up as afoundation for further exploration. Findings of this study were also summarized in acondensed form.
