The solutions for the concentration of active and dead polymers of
copolymerization are derived on the basis of the steady-state assumption for every
active polymers, of the theory of difference equation and the Euler-Maclaurine
summation formula. The solutions can be applied to most cases of free radical
copolymerizations, except those which themonomers have near zero reactivity ratios
of the monomers. The numerical results illustrated for copolymerizations of methyl
methacrylate and vinyl acetate, and methyl methacrylate and styrene are obtained
by using the Runge-Kutta-Gills method of the subroutine of IBM 1130 computer. - 中文關鍵字: --
