- 英文摘要: reduction of food intake in diabetic rats, revealing theefficiency of D /D agonist in the improvement of hyper-phasia in diabetic animals. This study investigated whether co-administration of do-pamine D and D agonists might additively inhibit thefeeding effect and whether this effect was mediated bythe action on hypothalamic neuropeptide Y (NPY). TheD agonist SKF 38393 (SKF) and D2 agonists apomor-phine (APO) or quinpirole (QNP) were administered, alone or in combination, to examine this possibility. Insingle administration, decreases of daily food intakewere observed only in rats treated twice a day with ahigher dose of SKF, APO or QNP. However, combinedadministration of D and D agonists, with each agent ata dose that alone did not induce anorexia in one dailytreatment, exerted a significant effect. These results re-veal that co-activation of D and D receptors can addi-tively reduce daily food intake and body weight. Thesame treatment also decreased the level of hypothalam-is NPY 24 h post-treatment. These results suggest anadditive effect during combined activation of D and Dreceptor subtypes to decrease food intake and bodyweight that are mediated by the action of hypothalamicNPY. Similar to the effects seen in healthy rats, com-bined D /D administration was also effective in the
