放養密度因而必須遞減。l - 英文摘要: Maximum food consumption rate of Macro-brachium rosenbergii is about 5.7-7.O% of bodyweight. The amount of food consumption rateincreases as feeding duration lengthens. However,when the prawn is fed with a single type ofdiet for a prolonged period of time, food con-sumption rate tends to decrease. When max-imum food ration is given to the prawn in onesingle ration, oxygen consumption rate reachesa maximum level in 8 hours, while less foodrations (1/4 to 3/4 maximum ration) takes only4 hours to reach their maximum level. Respira-tion rate (cal/kcal/day) of Macrobrachium rosen-bergii is positively and linearly related to foodconsumption rate (cal/kcal/day) and may berepresented by the equation y=12.92+0.176x(r=0.97). Growth rate (cal/kcal/day) is curvilinearlyrelated to food consumption rate (cal/kcal/day)and may be represented by y=-12.653+0.786x-0.006x2.
