• 中文摘要： 研究比較台灣產楨楠屬植物之精油組成以便進一步瞭解各分類群之分類關係。葉部之精油以水蒸氣蒸餾法取得，所得到之精油以毛細管氣相層析法加以分析，所求得之化學資料採用歸群分析、主成分分析，及non-metric multidimensionalscaling等數值分類學之方法加以統計歸納。根據本研究之結果我們將台灣產楨楠屬植物處理為八個分類群。
• 英文摘要： A comparative chemical study of essential oil compositions was performed for the taxa of Machilusin Taiwan in order to clarify the taxonomic relationships of the taxa concerned. The essential oils wereobtained by steam distillation and the oils were analyzed by capillary gas chromatography. The chemicaldata were analyzed by the methods of cluster analysis, principle component analysis, and non-metric multi-dimensional scaling. From the results of this study we recognize the existence of eight taxa in Taiwan.
