• 中文關鍵字： This concept paper reviewed compressive approaches briefly of wetland restoration developed as goals setting, indicator identification, reference site selection, variation calibration, and life-cycle monitoring. Since there are no nationally recognized protocols for assessing the ecological conditions of wetland areas in Taiwan, this short paper provided proper approaches to satisfy assessments at scales ranging from individual restoration sites to riparian areas from research-driven analysis to model building. Scales issues were clearly identified and some recommendations are supported to solve both issues of natural and anthropogenic influences.
