- 中文摘要: Electrolytically deposited copper cathode has been used as the staring material for the preparation of pure, high analysis phosphor-copper by treating with yellow phosphorus at 350℃. or lower temperatures in a sealed crucible. The reaction, which is exothermic, has been found to begin at 180℃. or possibly lower temperatures. Some evidence showing the reaction to take place in two or more stages has been given. The necessity of rigorously controlling the crucible temperature has been observed. This process is the most economical and the simplest in practice. It can be used for the simultaneous production of phosphor-copper and red phosphorus. The products so prepared contain 20.6% of P or more.
