薩爾瓦多銀合歡製造粒片板之研究

薩爾瓦多銀合歡為多用途且具固氮作用之速生樹種,若造林撫育得當,可為將來木材工業之主要原料來源,本文旨在探討其用於製造粒片板之可行性,並就不同品系間,不同直徑級間,不同膠合劑間及夾入玻璃纖維織布等各項因素進行製板及材質比較,結果如下: (1)薩爾瓦多銀合歡製造密度0.7g/cm3,PF平均用膠量8%之三層構造粒片板,不同直徑級間及不同品系間,粒片板之品質差異不顯著,且品質皆達JIS A 5908-1961之品質試驗強度150類之規格要求“ (2)以不同膠合劑(UF,PF,MF),K8全幹材粒片(Full-tree bole particles)為原料,製造與上述條件相同之粒片板,製板之各種性質除內聚強度外,均以MF最優,PF次之,UF最小,亦均能合於JIS A 5908-1961強度150類之規格要求。板面吸水量及厚度吸水膨脹率則以PF最小,MF次之,UF最大。 (3)同(2)項之條件,PF為膠台劑,製板時於表、中層細粗粒片層間夾入玻璃微維織布,對於粒片板性質之改良,具有顯著的效果,玻璃微維織布層數愈多者,力學性質愈佳;夾入三層者比不夾者,其抗彎強度(MOR)可提高200%,彈性限度應力可提高215%,彈性係數(MOE)可提高155%,硬度(Hb)可提高58%,內聚強度可提高100%。板面吸水量及吸水厚度膨脹率之值,則隨著夾入玻璃纖維織布層數之增加而減小。

Salvador Leucaena ((Leucaena leucoce-phala (Lam.) de wit.)) is a new speciesintroduced from Salvader and has been accli-mated in Taiwan. It's a wonderful news forwood based industries as raw materials forproducts manufacturing in the future. Themain purpose of this study was to investigatethe possibility of utilizing this species forparticleborard manufacturing. In this experi-ment, the properties of particleboard made ofdifferent varieties (K8, K72), diametergrades (4-8cm, 8-12cm, 12-18cm andfull-tree bole particles) and binders (PF,MF and UF) were examined. The strengthimprovement by embedding fiberglass clothlayers in the products was also studied. Theresults obstained were as follows:(1)The properties of 3-layer particleboards made of 5-year Leucaena with 0.7g/ cm3 in density and 8% henolic resin content showed better than the second level set by JIS A 5906-1961. Moreover, variance analysis showed that proper- ties of boards were insingificant of diameter grades and varieties.(2)The effect of resins on mechanical properties, results thus obtained from K8 full-tree particleboards manufac- turing, was MF>PF>UF; internal bonding strength (IB) and the amount of water absorption and thickness swelling was PF
