• 中文摘要： 鴉膽子(Brucea Sumatrana Roxb.)早在本草綱目有收載並對阿米巴痢疾有相當療效。這次由該植物之種子分離，另一種新苦味質，Brucein Q,(C29H40O18,m.p.190～194℃).由Brucein Q及該Octaacetate (C45H60O26;m.p. 157～159')之紫外光譜，紅外光譜，質譜，核磁共振光譜與其他Burcein系統化合物之光譜比較檢討並應用核自轉除偶技術決定該構造如正文圖1。
• 英文摘要： Brucea Sumatrana Roxb, is well known under Chinese name (Ya-tan-tzu)as herbal remedies for human amebiasis. New bitter principle, brucein Q,C29H42O18，m.p. 190-194℃ has been isolated from Brucea Sumatrana. BruceinQ gave a UV absorption ofα,β-unsaturated ketone in ring A of bruceinseries compounds. The i.r. spectrum showed δ-lactone and ester band of1730 cm-1.The n.m.r. and mass spectrum of the brucein Q octaacetate,C45H60O26, m.p. 157-159'. provide information which, along with the as-sumption that the compound is one of the brucein series of compounds andspin-spin decoupling technique defined the structural feature of the moleculeas shown in Fig. 1.
