- 英文摘要: The temperature profiles within the superheated boundary layer adjacent to a horizontal heating surface in nucleate pool boiling of aqueous SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) surfactant solutions were determined experimentally in this work by a microthermocouple. An unusual trend of the thickness of the superheated boundary layer (.delta.) with heat flux for surfactant solutions of higher concentrations is observed. This and the variations of amplitude of the temperature fluctuations within the superheated boundary layer with concentration and heat flux lend themselves to a suggestion that a different mechanism may control the nucleate boiling heat transfer of water with surfactant additive. A simple heat transfer model including microlayer evaporation is proposed to analyze the surfactant effects on the mechanism of nucleate boiling. Better understanding of the enhancement of nucleate boiling heat transfer of water by the addition of surfactant additive has been achieved.
