- 中文摘要: 電子顯微鏡觀察不同生理和實驗狀態下倉鼠腦下腺前葉的切片標本,顯示腦下腺前葉細胞可以分成六種細胞型。本論文專就其中G型細胞作詳細的報導。 G型細胞含有150~290nm大小的分泌顆粒,此種顆粒可以一種醣蛋白特殊染色法(periodic acid-silver methenamine)染出。依胞器發達的程度,G細胞可分?Ga和Gb 二亞型。Ga細胞具有相當發達而擴大的顆粒內質網,大型高基氏器 以及較寬大之線粒體。Gb細胞較Ga細胞?小,且含有不發達之胞器和稀少的分泌顆粒。顆粒排出情形多見於Gb細胞。 去勢後倉鼠腦下腺內,Ga細胞呈現過度增殖及肥大且伴有多數空泡狀或擴大成不規則形狀之顆粒內質網,此時Gb細 胞無顯著變化。由此推論Ga和Gb細胞極可能是腦下腺前葉之促性腺激素細胞,彼可能分別代表同一型細胞之合成期和 釋放或分泌後期之不同生理狀態。
- 英文摘要: Six cell types are distinguished in the anterior pituitary gland of the adult golden hamster by electron microscope observations on specimens from animals under various physiological and experimental conditions, G type cells, the putative gonadotrophs, which are subdivided into Ga and Gb cells, are reported in detail in this article. G type cells contain secretory granules 150-290 nm in diameter which react to periodic acid-silver methenamine technique, a preferred stain for detecting the presence of complex carbohydrates. Ga cells contain abundant vesicles or dilated cisterns of the granular endoplasmic reticulum, a large Golgi apparatus and numerous thick mitochondria. Gb cells, smaller than Ga cells, contain poorly developed organelles and fewer secretory granules which frequently show exocy-totic figures. After castration of hamsters Ga cells proliferated and hypertrophied with the endoplasmic reticulum in the form of vacuolar cisterns or of irregularly enlarged cisterns, whereas Gb cells were not significantly changed. Ga and Gb cells probably represent different physiologic states of the same cell type, i. e., the synthetic phase and the releasing or post-secretory phase, respectively. They are presumably the gonadotrophs in the pituitary of the golden hamster.
