- 中文摘要: 本研究是利用個別晤談法,來探究國小學生的生命、動物、植物概念發展情形,以及學生所持有的另有構念。晤談主體選自台東市三所國小的一至六年級學生,每一年級九人,一共54位學生接受晤談。質的數據經分析歸類後發現:國小學生只以生長、營養、生殖三種屬性來區別生物和非生物;以能否運動、營養型式、有無細胞壁三種屬性作為分辨動植物的標準。同時,結果也顯示國小學生常以脊椎動物的特徵來描述動物概念;以維管束或顯花植物特徵來描述植物概念。
- 英文摘要: The purpose of this study was to explore children's concepts of life, animal, and plantas well as their alternative conceptions at the elementary school level. An oral interviewresearch approach was adopted. The subjects were selected from three elementary schoolsin Taitung City, and three students in each grade at each school were interviewed andaudiotaped. The findings of the study indicated that children used growth, nutrition, andreproduction as the criteria to differentiate living and nonliving things; and movement,trophic patterns, and the cell wall to discriminate animals from plants. Results alsosuggested that students subscribed to a highly restricted view of animals and plants, applying the terms almost exclusively to vertebrates and vascular or flowering plants.
