- 中文摘要: 本文研究磁鞘及電漿片非均向壓力下的電流片不穩定波。此中利用CGL原理,導出在電流片傳播的磁聲波方程式。由此方程式得出電流片中的擾動磁場、電漿位移、密度及速度的數值解。並算出電流片不穩定之偶模及奇模的滋長率。由此得知此二模受控於長度比d/a。此中d為區域磁鏡不穩定區的半寬,a為電流片的半寬度。在磁鞘及電漿片中觀測到的磁脈動,其產生機制之一,可能來自電流片不穩定性。
- 英文摘要: Current sheet instability with anisotropic pressure in the magnetosheath and the plasma sheet isstudied. Using CGL theory, a magnetosonic wave equation propagating in a current sheet is derived. Thenumerical results of this equation give the perturbed magnetic field, plasma displacement, density, andvelocity in the current sheet. The growth rates of the even and odd modes of the current sheet instabilitiesare also computed. It is found that these two modes are controlled by the length ratio d/a, where d anda are the half width of the local mirror unstable region and the current sheet, respectively. It is suggestedthat the current sheet instability is one of the generation mechanisms of the magnetic pulsations observedin the magnetosheath and the plasma sheet.
