• 中文摘要： 首先我們利用蒙地卡羅方法模擬表面上吸附物間相互的作用力導致的聚島現象。金屬表面以一個NXN的方形晶格表示。吸附物隨機分佈於其上，我們發現需考慮最近鄰之外的作用力方能導致島狀聚集。其次我們仍以蒙地卡羅方法模擬W(110)面上Xe受雷射引發的脫附反應，尤其是W(110)面上Xe原子有聚集現象的效應。島狀聚集對雷射引發之脫附反應的效應可由對脫附速率及脫附粒子數對時間及空間的分佈的分析而得。我們也將以上所得與沒有島狀聚集的表面上吸附物的雷射引發脫附反應做比較。
• 英文摘要： Monte Carlo simulations were performed for diffusion and desorption of Xe on a W(110) surfaceinduced by laser heating. The system was modeled as a two-dimensional lattice. The effect of diffusionon the desorption rate is scrutinized by analyzing the extent of aggregation and island formation and theconsequential spatial and temporal distributions of desorbates. At higher coverage of 6x adsorbates/ , island formation is found to reduce the total desorption flux. At lower coverage of 2x adsorbates/ , island formation is found to increase the total desorption flux.
