- 英文摘要: Monte Carlo simulations were performed for diffusion and desorption of Xe on a W(110) surfaceinduced by laser heating. The system was modeled as a two-dimensional lattice. The effect of diffusionon the desorption rate is scrutinized by analyzing the extent of aggregation and island formation and theconsequential spatial and temporal distributions of desorbates. At higher coverage of 6x adsorbates/ , island formation is found to reduce the total desorption flux. At lower coverage of 2x adsorbates/ , island formation is found to increase the total desorption flux.
