在遠紫外線區有良好連續光譜的空氣閃光燈的研究

本研究對高電流密度放電時能?生良好的連續光譜的原理提出假?並加以驗證。我們認?決定光譜連續性(Q)優劣 之重要因素是'每個接受放電粒子在單位時間?所接受的能量'。此因素又可經由已知的數量加以代換,我們導出Q與放電氣體的壓力與?度的乘積成正比。我們製作了數個空氣閃光燈來驗證了我們的假?,並發現當電極(0.2公厘厚)是被亞 克力板夾起來放電時,其良好連續光譜可由可見光直達遠紫外線區。閃光燈的放電條件是:電容=0.03μF ,電壓=10Kv ,電感?nH ,放電前氣壓=l atm.。

The principles of obtaining a good continuum in high current density discharge are discussed. The most important factor which determines the quality of the continuum (Q) is assumed to be the energy received per unit of time by each discharged particle. This factor can be transformed by known formulae and finally Q is related to the product of gas pressure and temperature under the conditions that inductance =0 and Δt=rc. Air flash lamps are constructed to meet our theory. Very good continuum is observed throughout the visible and far ultraviolet regions when the discharge electrodes (0.2 mm thick) are pinched with acrylate polyglass plates and the lamps discharge under the following conditions: c=0.03μF, v=10Kv, inductance -nH, pressure before discharge = 1 atm.
