- 中文摘要: 本研究嘗試探討電腦教學(Computer-Based Instruction CBI)採用動畫與學生「觀看電視的行為」對學生學習動機的影響。本研究對「觀看電視的行為」之定義乃是根據Rubin教授所定義的「觀看電視行為」的種類,稍作修改後而得。樣本為47位Purdue大學教育學院的大學生。本研究的一些重要的結論包括:(1)電腦化教學中採用動畫的樣本學生較不採用動畫的樣本學生,學習動機較高;(2)「觀看電視行為」為「學習」者,其學習動機較高;(3)「觀看電視行為」為「求刺激」者,其學習成果較低;(4)樣本學生大學以前觀看電視的時間較長者,在電腦化教學中學習成果較低。
- 英文摘要: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of computer animation and televisionviewing behavior on intrinsic motivation in a computer-based instructional lesson. A modifieddefinition of Rubin's definition for television viewing behavior was employed in this study. Forty-seven undergraduates were involved. There were four major findings: (1) subjects’intrinsicmotivation was moderately higher if the graphics of the CBI lesson were animated; (2) subjects’television viewing behavior rated as "to learn" had moderately higher intrinsic motivation; (3)the higher ranking for "arousal", the lower the academic achievement; and (4) the more the timespent watching TV before college, the lower the academic achievement.
