- 中文摘要: 多重匯流排連接網路是常被使用於多重微處理器系統的一種結構。多重匯流排固然可增加系統的容量,但當使用者增加時會受制於匯流排的取得。本文提出一個平行輸入/輸出系統和一個分散式,橫條式開關系統,其用來幫助此隱藏式(控制匯流排)媒體存取法的操作,TDMA-C,以及增加多重匯流排連接網路的使用容量。本文建立一個半一馬可夫(semi-Markov )數學模式,一方面經實際模擬證實其準確性外,並改變其他參數而預估其系統特性。
- 英文摘要: A popular architecture for multiprocessor system is a multiple-bus interconnection network. Multiplebuses may increase capacity, but the system is still severely limited in size due to bus contention. Aparallel I/O system and a decentralized crossbar switch system are proposed to support the operationsof a reservation (control-bus based) TDMA-C protocol and increase the scalability of DSM multiprocessormultiple-bus interconnection networks. The function of the control bits is to broadcast reservation requests,and the broadcast capability is also used to support cache coherence level control signals such asinvalidations· This reservation approach can achieve collisionless transmission and avoid or alleviatememory conflict before transmitting data through the data bus. A semi-Markov model is developed toreflect the impact of low level media access protocols on high level systems Trace-based discrete-eventsimulation has been used to evaluate the model The model is used to examine the system performancewith varying system parameters
