- 中文摘要: This study examined the relationships among vocational interests, career maturity, academic performance, and academic interests of male senior high students talented in math and science. Subjects consisted of 170 gifted students and 170 regular students in the Taipei area. Instruments for collecting data included the Vocational Interest Inventory, the Career Development Inventory, and the Academic Performance and Interest Scale. The major findings were that (1) the two groups differed in four selected variables, with the gifted group showing particularly higher levels of investigative vocational interest and career maturity, and (2) there were significant relationships between career variables and academic attributes.
