- 中文摘要: 本研究探討螢幕顏色組合、工作配速及工作-休息時程對終端機作業之績效與疲勞之影響。實驗結果顯示螢幕顏色組合顯著的影響績效。綠底紅字的績效最差,其餘四種組合:藍底白字、藍底黃字、黑底白字及白底黑字的績效則差不多,作業績效與顏色差異值之間有顯著的正相關。工作配速也影響績效,較慢的配速如預期的績效較佳。工作-休息時程則無顯著的效應。以CFF的改變為指標的視覺疲勞雖然在終端機作業過程中顯著的下降,但是顏色組合、工作配速或工作-休息時程對CFF的改變的效應卻不顯著。本研究的結果顯示顏色差異值可能是個有用的量度,具有較高的顏色差異值的顏色組合較適於終端機作業。
- 英文摘要: This study investigated the effects of screen color combination, workpace, and work-break scheduleon visual performance and visual fatigue during visual display terminal (VDT) work. The results showedthat screen color combination significantly affected performance, with red text on a green backgroundresulting in the poorest performance. The performance of the other four combinations, white-on-blue,yellow-on-blue, white-on-black, and black-on-white, did not differ significantly. The performance of thescreen color combinations correlated significantly with color differences. The workpace also affectedperformance. Subjects had better performance under slow workpace. The work-break schedule had nosignificant effect on performance. Visual fatigue, as indicated by CFF changes, was not significantlyaffected by the screen color combination, workpace, or work-break schedule, though significant CFFreduction was found during VDT work. It is suggested from the results of this study that color differencecan be a useful measure, and that color combination with greater color difference is preferred in VDTscreen design.
