- 中文摘要: 臺北市的幹道系統是臺北交通活動的大動脈,在缺乏捷運與快速道路系統的都市裹,15-~25%的總道路里程,應可負擔65~80%的都市總車公里旅程,臺北由於缺乏道路功能分類,加以都市計晝土地使用的混合型態,使市區的幹道交通特性變得極為複雜,本項研究在於探討臺北的幹道系統可能受到興建中的快速道路影響的程度,從幹道的路型之不同,探討其交通功能之優劣。又基於今後交通需求的成長,市區不斷的開發,幹道系統之闢建與改善措施及其評估準則的確立,作一原則性的研究,最後提出六點結論性的建議,作為改進步驟。
- 英文摘要: The principal arterial system in Taipeitransportation is well recognizes as the mostimportant transport facilities serving to ruraloriented traffic, but equally or even more im-portantly, serving for major movements withinthe urbanized area. According to the highwayfunctional classification, the arterial system ofstreets should carry a high proportion of thetotal urban area travel on a minimum of mile-age. The system should be integrated, bothinternally and between major rural connections. With expressway system presently beingdeveloped expected to absorb the bulk of theanticipated travel increase following its comple-tion, what will be the effect on arterial streets,what will be the impact on traffic characteristicsas a result from mixed pattern of land uses?Both of the issues are discussed. Also includedin this study is the comparsion of traffic effi-ciency between different types of arterial section.Futhermore, the criteria proposed to arterialdeficiency determinations as well as: the prin-ciples in the improvements of arterial networkare also concluded in this research.
