- 中文摘要: The stereospecific polymerization of propylene with Natta catalyst under ordinary pressure has been investigated and discussed. Propylene of 99.5% purity was polymerized with a metal-organic complex catalyst, formed from Al(C2H5)3 and TiCl3, giving a white or grayish stereopolymer which contained ca. 70% isotactic polypropylene. The optimum conditions of polymerization were as follows: the mole-ratio of Al(C2H5)2/TiCl3 was 8-15; the polymerization-temperature was 70℃, and the concentration of TiCl3 was 0.6-0.8 g per 120 ml of n-heptane. The maximum polymerization rate reached the value of 6 g C3H6/hr./g TiCl3 and the apparent activation energy as calculated from an Arrheniusplotting line, was 12.1 kcal/mole.
