Based on grain model, a formulation is presented for the non-isothermal
case of the system of reactions between two solid grains through gaseous inter-
mediates:
A(g)+bB(s)=cC(g)+eE(s)
C(g)+dD(s)=aA(g)+fF(s)
where diffusion effects are absent.
The non-isothermal ease is characterized by six dimensionless parameters, ε1,
ε1, λ1, λ2, λ3 and θw which include heat capacity of solid, activation energies and
heats of reactions, radiant heat transfer property and wall temperature of reactor.
The effects of these parameters on the conversions and the reaction temperature
are presented.
This is a theoretical analysis, experimental data are needed to prove this
