- 英文摘要: Spinal acute opioid tolerance remains mechanisticallyundercharacterized. Expanded clinical use of direct spi-nal administration of opioids and other analgesics indi-cates that studies to further understand spinal mecha-nisms of analgesic tolerance are warranted. Rodentmodels of spinal administration facilitate this objective.Specifically, acute spinal opioid tolerance in mice pre-sents a plasticity-dependent, rapid, and efficient oppor-tunity for evaluation of novel clinical agents. Similaritiesbetween the pharmacology of acute and chronic spinalopioid tolerance, neuropathic pain; and learning andmemory suggest that this model may serve as a highthrough-put predictor of bioactivity of novel plasticity-modifying compounds.
