鹽酸四環素輻射滅菌之探討及與其他滅菌法之比較

廣效性抗生素鹽酸四環素(tetracycline-HCl)在粉末狀固態或溶液狀態分別施以鈷-60伽馬 射線輻射滅菌法,結果發現無論在化學性質上及生物殺菌力上,粉末狀固態鹽酸四環素照射劑量高至5 Mrad都沒有顯著的變化產生,而溶液狀態鹽酸四環素則有不良的反應出現。故推論鹽酸四環素在粉末狀固態時施以伽馬射線之輻射滅菌法,優於溶液狀態時之輻射滅菌照射。 另鹽酸四環素之輻射滅菌法分別和高壓鍋滅菌法及乾熱滅菌法比較,其結果再從化學性質及生物殺菌力性質上作比較,亦發現粉末狀固態鹽酸四環素之輻射滅菌法為影響最小,效果最好的滅菌法。

Tetracycline-HCI, a common antibiotics tobacteria, was sterilized with 60Co r-rays inaqueous or dry state, and was investigated inchemical changes or microbiological activitiesfor both control and irradiated ones. Therewas no dominant variance of tetracycline-HClin dry state after irradiation even up to 5 Mrad,but there were some serious changes of tetracy-cline-HCl in aqueous state after irradiation.The radiation sterilization of tetracycline-HClin dry state was better than in aqueous state. The radiation sterilization method of te-tracycline-HCl was compared with some otherconventional sterilization methods, such as heatmethod in dry state and autoclave method interms of chemical changes and microbiologicalactivities. The results show that tetracycline-HCl radiosterilization method in dry state wasthe least affected and the best sterilizationmethod.
