- 英文摘要: Direct separation of racemic DL-aspartic acid and DL-alanine has been studied by using ligand exchange chromatography. We have shown that the Zn2+ ion has more advantages than the Cu2+ion for separation or other analytical purposes. Usually, the resolution is good for DL-aspartic acid enantiomers but not for DL-alanine enantiomers. The elution order of numerous amino acids has been rationalized with the effects of metal ion type, metal ion concentration, water, the molecular structure of amino acid, and the stability of the Cu2+ complex on the gel surface. Molecular distortion of the amino acid structure should be one important factor for separating the DL-amino acid enantiomers in our case but needs further investigation. L-alanine, a primary metabolite of Pseudomonas dacunhae, from DL-Aspartic acid, was analyzed with achiral aqueous 0.25 mM Zn2+ solution. The application to amino acid analysis can be at trace level, which is also characterized as fast and convenient.
