• 英文摘要： The molecular basis of seven Chinese patients in Taiwan with hemoglobin H disease was investigatedand was found to be heterogeneous in the mutation type. They were α-thalassemia-1 mutation combinedwith hemoglobin Constant Spring, an undetermined nondeletion form of α-thalassemia and a deletionform of α-thalassemia-2 mutations. The α-thalassemia-1 mutation was shown to be the SEA type Ihaplotype.
