- 中文摘要: 本文針對電腦化心電圖之資料儲存及傳輸提出一種高品質,速度快和效率高的資料壓縮方法。首先以二次差異法取代以往常用的線性預估法,以提高其壓縮比例。將二次差異後產生之餘差,經由赫夫曼(Huffman)編號方式,取其極小長度之編碼,達成資料壓縮之目的。 本研究測試資料係取自榮民總醫院心臟科,病人之心電圖經由數位化傳送系統,儲存於電腦化心電圖室之主電腦。本資料壓縮方法成功的在該主電腦(PDP 11/24)上發展出來,並以該資料完成分析和測試,結果其誤差極小,且其壓縮比例可達4.5比1。 另外,在本研究中,數位濾波器對資料壓縮方法之影響亦被分析和討論。
- 英文摘要: A high quality, fast, and efficient data compression algorithm for electrocardiographic data storageand data communication through telephone lines has been developed. In this new algorithm, the seconddifference method instead of the `Linear Prediction' was implemented. A correction technique was used tosolve the error propagation problem. The residual values of ECG after the second difference was encodedby the Huffman minimum entropy coding to attain higher data reduction ratio. The extremely small dis-tortion of the reconstructed signals is one of the merits that this new algorithm possessed. In addition,short computation time and an average 4.5:1 compression ratio was also achieved by this new algorithm.
