- 中文摘要: 將具有生物適合性的polysulfone 80wt%與磷酸三鈣 20wt%製成植入物,埋植於 Wistar白鼠之股骨。在20個月的長期觀察中發現:第2星期時,植入物的周圍即有板層骨圍繞,而與正常的骨髓隔開。第3個月時,植入物中的細孔內有骨小樑產生。第4個半月時,板層骨深入細孔而顯得較厚。第6個月時,板層骨及骨小樑更趨明顯。第8個月時,植入物漸被類骨組織和骨小樑所充滿。第16個半月時,可見骨組織經改塑與再排列形成細條狀而使植入物左右兩端相連。第20個月時,植入物的周圍包圍著厚厚的板層骨,此時磷酸三鈣幾乎完全溶解,造成的空隙全被骨組織所取代,剩餘的只有不被溶解的polysulfone。依此現象,可應用為牙科和骨科的植入材料,藉著骨質沉積的連結力,更可加強植入物在骨中的安定性。
- 英文摘要: In order to prove a material suitable fordental and orthopedic implant, tissue respon-se to porous polysulfone composite containing20wt% of tricalcium phosphate has beenstudied by implantation in the femur of Wistarrats. During the observation period of 20months, histological examination showedlamellar bone formation between normal bonemarrow and implant at 14 days after surgery.At 12 weeks, the polysulfone pellet had bonetrabeculae formed within porous spaces. Thesurrounding lamellar bone became thick since4.5 months postoperatively. Bone trabeculaeand the surrounding lamellar bone wereclearly visible at 6 months. The implantspaces were filled with osteoid and bonetrabeculae at 8 months. At 16.5 months, thebone showed remodeling and reorientation.The lamellar bone of both sides was connectedwith bone trabeculae in the implant. At 20 months, the implant was surroundedby a thick lamellar bone. The tricalciumphosphate had been resorbed and replaced bybone tissue. According to the results, thepolysulfone containing 20wt% of tricalciumphosphate had good tissue compatibility andseemed to be a promising material for implant.Because the bone ingrowth into porositiesproduced an interlocking composite interfacewhich was capable of stabilizing dental andorthopedic prostheses.
