稻細?寄生蟲範圍之調查

調查稻田及其附近之雜草 17 科 52 屬 73 種,其中 37 種為禾木科皆未發現稻細 生存繁殖其上;又調查休閒田土壤及再生稻根部土壤中之 類,亦未發現稻細 。以6種水稻主要病害之病原真菌及4種土壤中之真菌飼育稻細 ,皆不能生存繁殖,故稻細瞞之食性似頗為專一。由寄主範圍調查結果,建議施行:(1)休閒期犁除再生稻及稻樁,使稻細瞞 失去棲所及食物而死亡;(2)劃一水稻之種植時間;(3)第一期稻作收穫後,讓稻田做正常休閒。該等方法似可延緩稻細 為害第二期稻作之時間,而降低其為害所造成之損失。

Seventy-three species of weeds belonging to17 plant-families in and nearby paddy fieldswere investigated during 1977 and 1978. Noneof them was found to be the host of the ricetarsonemid mite, Steneotarsonemus spinki Smiley.A number of species of mites were found insoil samples collected tfrom idle fields and theroot part of ratoon rice, but no rice tarsonemidmite wasfound there. No rice tarsonemid mitesurvived on 10 different species of funguscultures on PDA medium. It was assumed thatthe food of rice tarsonemid mite was restrictedonly to the rice. The damage and loss caused by ricetarsonemid mite to rice plants may be delayedand decreased to the minimum by the followingways: 1. Destruction of the whole ratoon rices and stubbles to keep rice tarsonemid mite out of their food. 2. To synchronize the cultivation of rice plants. 3. To fallow tfie paddy field for a proper period of time (about 2 wks) after the harvest of the first crops.
