• 英文摘要： In a single-mode optical fiber transmission system, the induced loss and effective cutoff wavlenegthof the first higher order mode are very important design parameters. Tension is an important factor thataffects the induced loss and the effective cutoff wavelength. In this work, a simple experiment is used tomeasure the tension dependence of the induced loss and effective cutoff wavelength for single-mode opticalfibers with different index profiles.
