密度層變流中的擴散及其在海洋放流之應用

本文藉責驗及理論的數值計算,探討線性密度層變水域一垂直二維浮昇射流的擴散特性。浮昇射流之擴散理論由質量、動量、動能量及浮量守恆方程,利用斷面積分法,設定速度與密度差剖面呈高氏分佈,並引用捲增概念,導出一常微分控制方程組。捲增係數則由動能量守恆推導出,與反局部密度Froude數成線性的關係式,而非一通用常數。流場中各物理總量之變化,由此控制方程組與啟始條件解出。 實驗方面,使用鹽水分層填加方法,填製線性密度層變水域,擴散比由實驗中對速度及密度差的剖面分佈之量測定出,介於1.10~1.40之間。本文之數值計算取定1.30。比較實驗測定之縱向軸中心速度及軸中心密度差分佈與數值之計算結果,以印證理論之分析。

In this study initial diffusion of a planeturbulent buoyant jet discharged into a lineardensity-stratified environment was investigatedtheoretically and experimentally. An integralapproach using a variable entrainment coefficientdeduced from the incorporation of the massconservation into the kinetic energy conservationworks to predict the gross features of a verticalbuoyant jet numerically. In the laboratory experiment, a filingsalt solution process was designed to generatea linear density-stratified environment. Varia-tions of velocity and density defect across thejet as well as along the axial centreline weremeasured and analyzed. Spreading ratio obtain-ed from the experimental measurements wasbetween 1.10 and 1.40. It is adopted as 1.30in making the numerical calculations. It isfound that the comparisons between the numer-ical calculation and the laboratory experimentwere favorable.
