. - 英文摘要: A numerical method for predicting the surge, heave and pitch motions of a spar buoy in an oceanenvironment is presented. Numerical integration techniques of the second-order predictor-corrector methodand the third-order Runge-Kutta method are employed in the time stepping solution procedure. Labora-tory experiments with a buoy model have been made to determine the hydrodynamic coefficients neces-sary to describe the buoy motions in the numerical model. These include: impulse responses in heave andin pitch using video and accelerometer measurements, drag coefficient determination in steady flows. Drifttests in steady flows and in linear waves have also been made. Comparisons between the numerical modeland the physical model are good, thus, the extension of this numerical model for predicting the buoy re-sponses can be made in the future deployment of prototype buoy in ocean.
