- 英文摘要: The oxygen evolving activity and voltammetric behavior of the spinel Ni/sub 1-x/Cu/sub x/Co/sub 2/O/sub 4//Ti electrodes prepared by thermal decomposition were investigated in an alkaline medium using the pseudo-steady- state polarization technique and/or cyclic voltammetry(CV). On this series of electrodes, a positive shift in peak potentials of the redox pair prior to the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and an increase in Tafel slopes of the OER were found with increasing the molar percentage(m/o) of Cu/sup 2+/. Their specific activity, i/q/sup */,(i.e., electrocatalytic activity) for the OER was also increased with increasing the m/o of Cu/sup 2+/, indicating the intimate mixing of the cations within the oxide matrix. The textural properties (including morphology, composition, and crystallite) of these oxides obtained from the scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy-dispersive x-ray (EDX), and x-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis were also investigated.
