• 中文摘要： 我們研究過中華民國刑事警察局所儲存的指紋檔案電腦化所會遇到的問題。這組資料業已經過分析，其中指紋影像品質受損及失真之情形已認定。用電腦來找尋指紋對比所需之特徵點的步驟已導出。指紋對比的方式已經推出。這指紋對比的方式，是依據K－圖形的原理導出。每一指紋其特徵點的分佈，即是用一K－圖形來表示。如此對比的方式，受到由於按指紋時所造成各種失真的影響很小。
• 英文摘要： We have studied the problems related to computerization of the fingerprint collection at the CriminalPolice Department of the Republic of China. This set of data has been analyzed and the types of degrada-tion identified. A set of procedures is studied to find the minutiae of a fingerprint. A matching scheme isdeveloped. This matching scheme is based upon modeling the distribution of minutiae of a finger by ak-graph which is a graph whose node has exactly k neighbor nodes.
