- 中文摘要: Carrier-free sodium-24 was prepared by bombardment of magnesium carbonate and aluminum foil with fast neutrons produced by the Tsing Hua Open Pool Reactor. The induced nuclear reactions were 24Mg (n,p) 24Na and 27Al(n,α) 24Na respectively. The separation of the isotope was carried out by leaching, precipitation, solvent extraction and ion exchange. For each separation method used, the chemical yield and decontamination factor were determined and compared. it was found that ion exchange column operation was the most satisfactory method among all.
