• 中文摘要： 語言是文化的一環，而語言教育更影響學童的文化認知與觀看世界的觀點。台灣因特殊的時代背景，語言教育更扮演不同的角色，語言課程與教學更是語言政策的重心。本研究依據語言教育的發展，將1945年以來的語言政策劃分為三個時期： 1.去除日本化恢復中國化的「改制穩定時期」(1945-1969) 2.貫徹國語推行凝聚國家意識的「計劃貫徹時期」(1970-1986) 3.邁向多語言多文化的「邁向多元開放時期」（1987迄今） 本研究將深入台灣語言教育的歷史，並依據上述三個時期分別探討語言課程與教學的內涵及發展，期能為現行逐漸開放的語言政策做一歷史的回顧，並據此提出未來語言教育政策的展望。
• 英文摘要： Language is one part of cultural. Language education influences the cultural identidy of children andlanguage education and instruction is the center of language policy. The purpose of this paper is to understand the language curriculum and instruction of Taiwan from 1945.I hope that this paper could have implications for the improvement of multilingual and multicultural educationpractice in Taiwan education.
