- 中文摘要: 本試驗以五年生之愛文檬果 (Mangifera indica L. cv Irwin) 為供試材料,檢討植物生長素在調節檬果開花期之理論及應用上之可行性。 試驗之過程及結果是:檬果樹於果實採收後,先以灌水及施肥促進新梢抽出至相當程度時〈大約在第二次抽新梢完畢,且新梢之葉片已完全展開〉以植物生長抑制劑 10000 ppm ALAR 或 200 ppm ETHREL 誘導樹梢由幼形相進入成熟相。然後,利用 100 ppm BA 之葉面散佈誘導花芽分化,最後則以 100 ppm BA + 5 ppm -NoA 促進花芽發育。顯示,BA 對誘導檬果花芽分化,BA + 微量 auxin 對花芽發育均具顯著之促進效果,約可提早開花 1.5 至 2.0 個月。但已分化而花莖尚未抽出之花芽,用 100 ppm GA 之散佈處理會導致芽體枯死。
- 英文摘要: Plant growth retardants, ETHREL and ALAR, were applied to 5-year-old mango (Mangifera indicaL. cv Irwin) trees one or two times during a definite period of leaf initiation. New vegetative growth (juve-nile phase) was checked by treatment with 200 ppm ETHREL or 10000 ppm ALAR, and was followed bya physiological maturation of the shoot (mature phase). Plants treated with growth retardant had highercontents of nitrogen and sugar in the leaves than untreated plants. Application of 100 ppm BA to the ma-ture shoots accelerated flower bud initiation in some cases. It was also found that 100 ppm BA + 5 ppm -NoA can be used to promote the floral development of mango. Treated panicles emerged 1.5 to 2.0months earlier than controls. However, application of 100 ppm GA can kill flower buds prior to the bolt-ing stage.
