- 中文摘要: This paper presents a method of analyzing the continuous beams and framesto enhance the ability of the electronic computers as well as other kinds of calcu-lating tools in tackling such structural problems. By this method a structure ispartitioned into a series of portions as elements connected together at their ends.The stiffness coefficients and the initial stresses at ends of each element are deter-mined from the element itself by the displacement method. Once those values becomeknown; the deflection components at the joints of the portions can be obtained justalong the same way of analyzing a frame composed of several members by thestiffness method. Then get the deflection components at all joints from all portions.And compute further the actions at all member ends based on those deflectioncomponents. The logic of this method is rather acceptable and the whole processcan be systematically arranged. An electronic computer program for this methodis offered as an appendix. There are two problems being worked out: one of acontinuous beam and other of a frame. In order to illustrate the procedure anddetails of computation the continuous beam is solved by use of ordinary calculatingtools, whereas for the frame the operation of analysis is performed with an electronic computer by applying the program already prepared.
